In sunny Venice, California, an Italian visitor desperate for help soon finds himself involved in the shady and questionable business of a certain family’s company. They are his only hope as he seeks to solve his particular predicament. The heir of this underground kingdom, Vincenzo Verardi, takes no issue with disrupting this visitor’s life, nor the lives of others–and all while wearing his best suit and smug attitude.

In an overcrowded future Tokyo, Kazuki Imai, feeling lonely and dissatisfied with his job, discovers a dream-inducing device. His dreams until now have only been reminders of his blues. This device offers him a temporary escape, and he finds fulfillment all while asleep. That is its intended function.

Perhaps because of the chronic sleep deprivation or the overwhelming accumulation of life’s disappointments, his dreams begin to blend with reality. He finds joy in his illogical visions, despite the initial disorientation, until he starts to untangle them. Now, he finds himself confronting the hidden meanings behind the dreams he had been ignoring.
